I did this one very absently, dabbing and playing in Procreate on my iPad until I arrived at something I was reasonably pleased with. I’ve always loved the sea, and old fashioned medieval ships- not the lurid modern day cruise liners that are destroying the planet. The idea of something vast and monstrous slumbering at the bottom of the sea is something that still fascinates me. Especially since most of the oceans of our world are still unexplored; it adds a dimension of believability to the notion.
Procreate has been my refuge for the past couple of months, and I love discovering the brushes I already have installed on it. Matty B’s quills and inkdup set especially are awesome- a joy to play around with for absent minded doodles like this.
