
One way to procrastinate and put off actually writing an essay is to sketch/ design illustrated covers for it, I guess? This is a sketch/ work in progress for Edgar Allen Poe’s ‘The Fall of the House of Usher, one of the texts I’m considering doing my essay on. I hope it’s spooky/ Gothic enough, but the sketches I’m looking forward to doing most are those of Roderick Usher (started him above the house) and Madeline (just indicated where she’ll go). Not entirely sure it’s a great composition visually but it’s not bad work for someone who isn’t practicing art as much as she should…
